Data and privacy in Thunders AI

What Thunders AI can access, and how your data is handled.

What Thunders AI can access

Thunders AI only uses the context of the surface you are working in and the sources you enable:

  • The current test case or test plan when you work in the editor.

  • The run data (steps, results, screenshots, environment, and persona) when you work in a test run.

  • Files you upload into the conversation.

  • Content from connected tools, only when you enable them as sources for that conversation.

  • Live pages, only when you enable Web Browse and provide a URL.

What Thunders AI does not do

  • It does not read tools you have not connected.

  • It does not use connected sources that are not enabled for the current conversation.

Data handling

  • Your data is never used to train AI models.

  • You request to delete your Thunders AI conversations at any time.

  • Thunders AI is covered by the same security and compliance commitments as the rest of Thunders, including SOC 2, GDPR, and your data processing agreement.

Your controls

  • Enable or disable each source per conversation using the source selector in the Thunders AI panel.

  • Manage, reconnect, or disconnect connectors at any time from the Connectors page.

  • Web Browse interacts with the live page you provide. It may change page state or trigger form submissions, so use caution on production environments.
