Integration Overview

Written by Ines

Thunders doesn't work in isolation. Your specs live in Notion or Confluence, your bugs get tracked in Jira or Linear, and your test management might already run through Xray. Integrations are what let Thunders plug into that existing setup instead of asking you to duplicate it.

What integrations give you

Context for Thunders AI: once a tool is connected, Thunders AI can read from it directly, pulling in a spec, a ticket, or a requirement, instead of you re-explaining your product every time you ask for a test. Ask what's in a spec, or what issues are still open, and Thunders AI answers from the real source.

One-click bug reporting: when a test fails, you can file a ticket in your connected tool without leaving Thunders. No copy-pasting logs, screenshots, or reproduction steps by hand. The ticket is created with full context and automatically linked back to the Test Case and Test Run it came from.

Two-way sync with test management tools: For tools like Xray, integrations aren't just one-directional: you can import existing tests into Thunders, and push execution results back, keeping your test management layer up to date without manual re-entry.

Why this matters day to day

  • Less duplicate work: You shouldn't have to maintain the same information in two places.

  • Full traceability: Every bug filed from a failed test is linked back to its Test Case and Test Run, so you always know where it came from.

  • Your existing workflow, not a new one: Thunders fits into the tools your team already uses for planning, tracking, and documentation, rather than becoming another silo.

Connecting is personal and per project

Each integration is connected by you, to your own account, within a specific project. If you work across several projects, you'll connect the same tool separately in each one. This keeps things scoped correctly: Thunders only ever sees what you can see in the source tool.
