Keyboard Shortcuts
Thunders includes keyboard shortcuts throughout the Test Case Editor and Test Run Report so you can run, control, and navigate tests without reaching for the mouse. Shortcut hints are displayed directly in button tooltips — hover over any action button to see its key combination.
On Mac, shortcuts use ⌘ (Command). On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl instead.
When to use them
Speeding up your testing workflow: trigger runs, stop execution, or restart directly from the keyboard without clicking through the UI.
Navigating panels quickly: toggle the Copilot or Properties panel open and closed while staying focused on your test.
Managing steps efficiently: add new steps, open the labels or test sets picker, or filter failed substeps without leaving your keyboard.
Copying references: grab a test case link, title link, or ID in one keystroke to share or paste into a ticket.

How to discover shortcuts in the UI
Hover over any action button in the Test Case Editor or Test Run Report.
The tooltip will display the action name alongside its keyboard shortcut.
Press the shortcut from anywhere on the page — no need to focus a specific element first.
Good to know
Single-key shortcuts (
A,T,F,L,P) are only active when no text input is focused, so they won't interfere with typing in a step field.↑ / ↓navigates browser steps only when the browser steps panel is active. All shortcuts work in both the Test Case Editor and the Test Run Report unless otherwise indicated in the tooltip.
On Mac, ⌘ is the Command key. On Windows and Linux, use Ctrl as the equivalent modifier.
