Understanding the Languages notions in Thunders
In Thunders, language management can seem complex at first, because there are three different types of languages. Each plays a specific role, and it’s important to understand their impact.
Personal Interface Language (UI)
This is the language you choose to use Thunders.
It only affects your personal experience and can differ between users within the same company or account, depending on individual settings.
It impacts the interface only (menus, buttons, navigation, etc.) and has no effect on how Thunders analyzes or generates content.
👉 Example: you can set your UI to French while working on a project in English.
How to Manage your Personal Interface Language?
Click on the icon with the flag, located right next to your profile icon at the top right of your screen.
Chose your Personal Language
AI Language (or "Project Language")
This is the working language of the AI.
It defines the language Thunders will use to:
interpret your prompts,
generate results,
create test scenarios,
write bugs or reports.
etc…
You can change it at any time to match your team’s needs.
Note: this language can be different from one project to another, even within the same company.
👉 Example: if your project is set to English, the AI will automatically generate bugs and prompts in English, even if your UI is in French.
How to Manage your AI Language?
Go to your “Project Settings” menu
Open the tab “General”
Choose you “Execution Language” in the proposed list
Scroll down and click on “Save”
Website/App Language Under Test
This is the language of the product you are testing (website, app, platform...).
It does not matter to Thunders, since the AI is multilingual.
Thunders can understand and interact with applications in any language.
👉 Example: you can have your UI in French, your project in English, and test an app in Spanish without any issues.
✅ Summary
UI Language → for your personal comfort, no other impact.
Project Language (Prompting) → the language in which the AI works and generates content.
Tested App/Website Language → no impact, Thunders understands them all.
